Join me for a wonderfully cosy winter afternoon of classic jazz, delicious shiraz and the fabulous sound of my full live jazz quartet! There’s just something about jazz in winter. Rich vocals, moody melodies, a beautiful glass of red in hand and the warmth of a live quartet filling the room. It really is the perfect way to warm the soul. Settle into the beautiful Red Room for an afternoon of timeless jazz featuring songs made famous by the greats, including At Last, Cry Me a River, Let’s Fall in Love and many more gorgeous favourites. For this special show, I’ll be joined by my fabulous chaps, Jackson VanBallegooyen on keys, Shane Pooley on double bass and Ryan Daunt on drums, with possibly a little singing from Ryan too. Yay! The full quartet brings such a rich, exciting sound to the room, with plenty of swing, fabulous musicianship and those wonderful spontaneous moments that make live jazz so special. This is the final concert in our annual winter series at The Red Room, so we’re making it an especially fabulous one.
