Perth jazz singer and bandleader Catherine Summers is widely known as a ‘delight to watch’. She’s acclaimed for her unique dulcet, versatile voice and her down-to-earth, engaging stage presence. There is an ‘instantly familiar’ vibe people have described about her that they can't seem to put their finger on - like you've known her for ages.
The UK-born Australian Singer burst onto the music scene in 2009 and has since established herself as one of the city’s most in-demand performers - a performer of choice at top venues, festivals and high-end functions.
Enjoy a broad repertoire of jazz from standards from The Great American Song book, a selection of songs from artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Anita O’Day, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone and more in every performance. Catherine’s list of French classics is vast with an impressive collection of Edith Piaf songs such as Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien, La Vie En Rose is a delight.
